PlayerIQ Data Connect is an automated pipeline that securely extracts patron data from your casino management system and delivers it to PlayerIQ — keyed on PlayerID as the primary key. No manual exports, no file transfers, no human intervention. Once configured, it runs every night by itself.
Data Connect pairs a lightweight on-premise gateway with a fully automated cloud pipeline. Two components live in your data center; the rest runs in Microsoft Azure. Here is what happens on every scheduled run:
A Windows gateway service in your data center queries your CMS marketing replica database for patron records created or updated since the last run. The connection uses a read-only SQL login: SELECT permission only, ever.
The gateway writes the changed records and a run manifest, then uploads both over HTTPS/TLS to a private, encrypted cloud staging area. The gateway makes outbound connections only — your firewall opens no inbound ports.
The arrival of the manifest automatically triggers the cloud pipeline, which loads the data and merges it into PlayerIQ using PlayerID as the primary key — new players are created, existing players are updated, and nothing duplicates when a patron changes their email address. Every run's result is recorded in a job history your team can review.
When your marketing team logs in, PlayerIQ dashboards, segments, and campaign tools already reflect last night's floor activity. Offer eligibility, tiers, and reinvestment data flow from the CMS without anyone touching a spreadsheet.
